Congratulations Anthony!

| March 10, 2021

The primary reason that we involve ourselves in tax preparation is that an in-depth understanding of taxes is crucial to providing quality financial-planning advice. This is why we are so proud that Anthony has successfully completed the three-part comprehensive Internal Revenue Service tests covering individual and business tax returns necessary to become an enrolled agent (EA). While Anthony cannot yet use that designation, he has already applied to the Internal Revenue Service, a process which we anticipate will take two or three months.

Upon approval, Anthony will have the privilege of representing taxpayers before the IRS. While this is important to our clients and us, what is most important is that Anthony has demonstrated a high level of dedication to competency and quality advice. According to IRS.GOV, “individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.” These continuing education requirements will help us keep our advice current as the tax code continually evolves. When you speak to Anthony, please feel free to congratulate him on this notable achievement.
